Foam Fill - a
light-weight and springy substance that when put
into a rubber tire will make the tire flat-proof. Foam
Fill is easier on equipment. Foam Fill is going to
replace Tire Fill over the next few years because Tire
Fill will be phased out. Foam Fill is used where a
smoother ride is needed and less weight desired. Unless
you have logging equipment, your wheels could most
likely benefit from Foam Fill. |

|
Tire Fill -
a heavy hard material that when poured into a
rubber tire will cause will make the tire hard and heavy. Use Tire
Fill only when you need to exceed the manufacturers
weight rating for the tire. Tire Fill has
been called Foam Fill but that is incorrect. Tire Fill
comes from 55 gallon drums and hardens overnight. |

Foam
Fill comes from an irreversible chemical reaction
when two or more liquids are mixed and hardens almost
instantly. Foam Fill is a more difficult process than
tire fill and the pay off is a lighter smoother riding
product. Use Tire Fill on your military and mining
applications, for everything else use Foam Fill.
