The word is finally out.
Amerityre, has a
robust line of bicycle tires suitable for many
applications. Recently, we got word from a major oil refinery
that had been testing some Amerityre brand bicycle tires for
over a year and were ready to convert an entire fleet of
bicycles to the Amerityre brand. Amerityre's example shows the tires are
suitable for more than just basic transportation needs. Amerityre provides an
economical tire with a tough, durable, long lasting urethane
with a nice finish quality to them. They do offer the color
yellow but in quantity orders only.
We can recommend the Amerityre brand tire for moderate
transportation needs of up to 10 miles. If you weigh more than
180 pounds or need higher performing products, then take a look
at the
Legacy or
Kik tires. All Amerityre products are in stock
and ship with an installation paddle free of charge. No need to
get the more expensive tool, the Amerityres are sized so that
you can get them on rather easily with the paddle. However, some
designs can be harder to install than others, especially the
smaller diameters of 20 inches and below.
Amerityre has designed an airless wheelbarrow tire that has
outperformed all the other
airless wheelbarrow tires. We've seen the testing and are satisfied with the
results. After having experienced all the airless tires there
are, the Amerityre urethane closed cell foam is designed to
resemble a tire. Air is trapped in the urethane so it has
bounce, but the Ameritye urethane has a 'toughness' to it not
found in other brands. It can take a lot of weight. They also make
the bicycle tire out of the same material, so the ride is tight.
Now that we have word, that a major oil refinery is happy with
these tires, our experience with them has broadened, and so we
can heartily endorse these tires.
