For do-it-yourself foam filling to be profitable or to reduce your costs, you'll need to be doing about 100 golf cart size tires a month. With that kind of urethane volume turnover (about 4500lbs) monthly, your equipment will soon pay for itself and the costs associated with your downtime and flats will decrease substantially. Since there is foam and fill, both require different equipment. Your tire needs, depending on how they are used will determine which system you need. Tire fill as opposed to foam fill, is easier to use. The dispensing and mixing systems cost about the same and both will end up saving you about the same amount of money. The foam is used when a lighter weight product or application is desired and its use is not considered extreme. However if lightweight tires is not important, then the tire fill is very predictable and very easy to use.
