Air Free is a Value Added Web
Aggregation Business Model with drop shipping and in
house fulfillment capabilities. This means there are two
possible scenarios when a customer makes an order.
Orders are drop shipped directly from our stocking suppliers/
manufacturers or from us. We carry
returns, specialty and high end items here at Air Free
Central in Florida, otherwise all other product comes from
our partners.
All orders are assumed good unless discovered
otherwise during our order cycle process. Most orders have a
4 - 10 day cycle*. For example: If a customer orders on
Sunday evening,
we review the order on Monday morning and if we have no
questions about the order, it is sent to the stocking
supplier or our fulfillment center Monday afternoon.
Our suppliers usually notify us within 48 hours of a
stock out or problem with the order (Legacy Tires not
included). Sometimes because of holiday, weekends and
circumstances beyond our control, our notifications are
delayed. (check

Assuming nothing is wrong with the order and product is in
stock, the order is sent out to the customer on Tuesday or
Wednesday In some cases, depending on the business cycles of
our partners, product may not always ship within the
customary 48 hour window.
When all goes as it should, most packages will be delivered
within 6 - 10 business days, with some exceptions. (Custom
psi bicycle tires, foam filled tires, wheel systems, custom
orders, overseas, special arrangements )
Our shopping cart sends an email confirmation. If you
don't get one, call or email us to make sure everything is
fine or check your spam filters.
If we find a problem with your order or our stocking
partners informs us they can't fill your order, we notify you
via our Help Desk by creating a ticket and sending you an
email. We will call, only if your order is a particularly
sticky one or your emails come back as undeliverable.
We recommend waiting the full 10 days before putting in a
Help Desk request. Over the years we have put in
requests for tracking numbers with our suppliers and in a
lot of cases, the package was already being delivered by the
time the tracking number was forwarded to us. As of this
writing we have 20 stocking partners and almost 20 different
systems of order taking and delivery. Each supplier is
unique and all try to do a good job. We are proud of our
associations with all of our suppliers, but please don't be
surprised if we tell you that some of our suppliers are
stuck in a time warp. It's just the way it is in business.
When you order a product from one of our stocking partners
that does routinely pass on tracking numbers at the time of
shipment, we forward the number to you via email.

*Some of our stocking suppliers routinely send tracking
numbers and others do not. This is because some of stocking
suppliers have always sold wholesale and haven't developed
systems for dealing with retail customers. For example:
several of our stocking partners never have sold to the end
user (retail) until now and instead specialize in wholesale
or distribution level sales. They find it irresistible to
resist our orders but aren't always prepared for the level
of tracking the customer would expect, Their software
systems are designed to move large shipments, not small
ones. Please be respectful of the time and effort it takes
to get tracking numbers from some of our stocking partners
when requesting your order status.

Our policy is that most orders being sent to the US 48
states will make delivery in under 10 business days but
there will be times due to circumstances beyond our control
that may hinder our ability to furnish a tracking number. We
may elect to reship the package or we may elect to wait for
a response from the shipper. Our shipping page will reflect
the current shipping and delivery approximations.
