Shipping Details: Our policy: is to provide you with the most economical means of shipping our tires to you. This is why we use a weight based method of calculating the shipping cost of your order. Also to save you money, orders may be processed from multiple locations and depending on what you order, you may receive more than one box.

Our packages are larger than most people realize and we have found that UPS offers the least expensive way to get the product to you but we can also ship via the US Mail. Most orders ship within 48 and can be delivered to you in 4-7 business days. Some stock items and custom orders can take longer.


Two bike tires and an installation tool or one wheelbarrow tire with box typically weigh about 8 lbs and the weight is listed with each product. (per pound) All US Mail Shipments are sent Priority Mail

For Example: Fed Ex 48 States
If you buy less than 9 lbs of tires (most orders, 4 bike tires or less) then the shopping cart would charge $14.95.

If you order more than 9 lbs of tires (5 bicycle tires or more) then the shopping cart would charge $18.80.

If you order more than 22 lbs, then the shopping cart will charge $24.50 plus $1.00 per pound over 22 lbs.
(example: 25 lbs = $27.50)

Some of our products may not be able to get shipped overseas. Customers who live outside the US and Canada can have packages economically delivered to them anywhere in the world in 10 - 20 days for a mere $65.00 plus the weight costs. Read more below.

When will you receive your order?
To bring you over 1000 airless and flat free products, we have partnered with 20 manufacturers and suppliers. Depending on the products you select, orders can be filled in 24 hours from our "Quick Ship" items and up to four weeks for custom items.

About Our Partners
We deal with multiple stocking partners and we ship from our locations too. Our stocking partners are businesses who either manufacture or warehouse airless products. We at Air Free also have custom product made to our specifications and we stock inventory here and other locations as well. Our stocking partners have varying degrees of sophistication when it comes to shipping practices. We deal with over 20 stocking partners to bring you the largest selection of airless products ever.

Quick Ship:
Any product bearing the "Quick Ship" logo comes from either us or a stocking partner who has product in stock and can assure shipment within 48 hours. Our Quick Ship partners have a reputation of customer friendly service and return policies. Please never ship anything back until you get an RA (return authorization) from us. When you choose a Quick Ship item, you choose an item that may come directly from a manufacturer or a distributor or us. All Quick Ship items have our "No Hassle Returns".

When you need to send something back, its' so simple: Fill out form the driver gives you then hand the package to the UPS or FedEx driver. What could be easier?

When there is a stock out, we are notified immediately and we notify you.


Products not bearing the "Quick Ship" logo come from reliable businesses but who at the present time don't meet the criteria for the "Quick Ship" program, either through stock outs, seasonal or cyclical fluctuations of production or other circumstances beyond the control of Air Free. We stand behind all purchases and wish to apprise our customers accordingly.

Legacy Bicycle tires ship with in 48 hours to 4 weeks depending on the product ordered. Credit cards are not charged until product ships. All Legacy products are shipped directly from the manufacturer with tracking numbers.

Tracking Numbers
Tracking numbers are provided as a courtesy upon request. Please read here before asking for a tracking number. See the Air Free Shipping Flow Chart

Every effort will be made to provide tracking numbers for your orders upon request. Some orders may have more than one package. Many of of our stocking partners provide tracking numbers to us when the package ships and a few don't. When the manufacturer/stocking supplier or our own shipping location provides a tracking number, it is emailed to the email address associated with the order.

When we place your order with our stocking partners or our own fulfillment center, the order is assumed good unless we are notified otherwise.

Please note that drop-shipping may be subject to minimal delays which might prevent the receipt of your package within the estimated time period. We will not be held liable for any losses that might be incurred due to the delay of your shipment for logistic reasons.

If the delivery of the products you order is time-critical we advise you to inform us beforehand so we can see if arrangements can be made to deliver your package with an express shipping option.

Please note also that orders can only be shipped to addresses in the United States, and Canada at this time unless prior arrangements are made.


In the event of a Back Order / Stockout
Credit cards are not charged until product ships. If we are out of a product, we will notify you via email.

Priority Mail
Some of our stocking suppliers do offer US Mail and some don't. If you require the US Mail for your delivery, please call or email ahead your request. Otherwise, we list only UPS or FedEx ground as the shipping options.
 

International Shipping Options:
We love to ship overseas. However some of our stocking suppliers are unable to ship products to overseas addresses and FPOs.

If you are interested in getting our tires shipped to you, please contact us and we can get an estimate.

Or you can use our shopping cart and select "Overseas Shipping" as the option and complete the purchase. If we cannot ship the product to you, we will cancel the order and refund any charges..

We can ship Nu-Teck brand tires anywhere in the world. Some wheelchair product can be shipped to Canada, otherwise all other tires are for the US only unless you arrange with us in advance.

If for some reason our shopping cart overcharges for the shipping, please let us know and we will try to adjust the amount. This may not be possible in all circumstances but we do try to be fair.

Custom Orders Nu-Teck
The manufacturer makes different sized tires on different days of the week. When the manufacturer makes your custom tires, they have to wait for the day your size is to made in bulk. When that day comes, they will mix up a special batch of material just for your tires and make them. The tires have to wait a day in a holding area to cure before being boxed up and sent to you. Sometimes you can special order a tire and have it in six days and other times it takes upwards of four weeks. It just depends on when your size is to be made. When you order custom tires, you are getting product that is made specific to you and will make your riding experience even more enjoyable.

Anytime we have word from the manufacturer your tires are delayed, we will notify you.

Greentyre - we have been trying to get Greentyre on our website for years. Now we have them. Their tires are very similar to Legacy and we have a limited stock of Greentyres on hand now for our Quick Ship. Plus we have some Heavy Duty special order Blizzards in stock and ready to ship now which fit rims between 19 and 22mm wide on 26 inch bikes. These tires came all the way from the UK, say hello and get a really good value. Kik Brand Tire - the airless tire industry took a turn for the better recently and Kik Brand Tires are now available exclusively through Air Free. Kik Brand tires are arguably some of the best tires for bikes ever made but.... they fit odd sized rims so make sure you measure your rims. Kik Brand Tires were some of the first airless tires ever invented. Some of their designs are still quite relevant but they fit older style rims which would be wider and deeper than the more modern rims. Update: the Ocelot, Rainier and Sierra tires are back. Extra dense, extra tough Amerityre - excellent partner in our quick ship program. You can't get their tires anywhere else. Great selection of sizes and beautiful build quality. Check out our recent pictures. Probably one of the most extensive airless tire collections as it spans bikes, to lawn and garden plus these are the guys making an airless car tire. They already have a passenger car spare tire DOT certified.   ---------------- Nu-Teck Tires - zippy fast and light-weight tires. This is our disclaimer: As of this writing, Legacy tires can take up to 8 weeks to get. Some customers may receive tires in under 2 weeks and others may take the entire 8 weeks. The best selection ever got even better because all you have to do is measure your hub. Don't even worry about a vehicle cross reference, just measure the hub. Spartech - these are the really good wheelchair tires you have heard about. In fluorescent colors and all the sizes, these tires will get you noticed. We like that that our stocking supplier is really helpful with pre-sales questions and returns are never a problem.
