Very Important |
|
|
Wheelchair tires can be
installed with either our "Tool
Bar" or our "Vice Tool"
or "Bicycle Tire Tool". The
vice tool needs a bench press to
work and is the easier of the
three methods to install. Almost all
of our wheelchair tires can be
installed with the tool bar and
all can be installed using the
vice tool. We list with each
tire the most appropriate tool
option. |

Almost as Important |
|
|
Warming any of our tires gently
will help no matter how you
choose to install our tires. A
little liquid hand soap around
the rim helps AND make sure the
tire can slide as it is stretched.
Only tie the tire off in one
place. Be patient and know that
almost no one has ever sent our
tires back because they couldn't
get them on. Always make sure
you have a second person to
assist. |

One More Thing |
|
|
Whichever tool you decide to use,
the process is the same. The
tire has to be worked on and
over the rim. When using the
Tool Bar, just work two inches
at a time. Keep your tools soft
and plastic for best results. If
you use WD40 then you need to
clean it up good with soap.
Silicone spray is more
desirable. |
