Our policy: is to provide you with the most economical means of shipping our tires to you. This is why we use a weight based method of calculating the shipping cost of your order. Also to save you money, orders may be processed from multiple locations and depending on what you order, you may receive more than one box.

Our packages are larger than most people realize and we have found that UPS offers the least expensive way to get the product to you but we can also ship via the US Mail. Most orders ship the next day and can be delivered to you in 4-7 business days. Custom orders can take longer.

Two bike tires and an installation tool with box typically weigh about 8 lbs and the weight is listed with each product. (per pound) All US Mail Shipments are sent Priority Mail

For Example: Fed Ex 48 States
If you buy less than 9 lbs of tires (most orders, 4 bike tires or less) then the shopping cart would charge $12.95.

If you order more than 9 lbs of tires (5 bicycle tires or more) then the shopping cart would charge $18.80.

If you order more than 22 lbs, then the shopping cart will charge $24.50 plus $1.00 per pound over 22 lbs.
(example: 25 lbs = $27.50)

Some of our products may not be able to get shipped overseas. Customers who live outside the US and Canada can have packages economically delivered to them anywhere in the world in 4-7 days for a mere $65.00 plus the weight costs. Read more below.

When will you receive your order?
Depending on the products you select, orders can be filled in 24 hours from our "Quick Ship" items and up to four weeks for custom items.

About Our Partners
We deal with multiple stocking partners and we ship from our locations too. Our stocking partners are businesses who either manufacture or warehouse airless products. We at Air Free also have custom product made to our specifications and we stock inventory here and other locations as well. Our stocking partners have varying degrees of sophistication when it comes to shipping practices. We deal with over 20 stocking partners to bring you the largest selection of airless products ever. Depending on where your product came from, our ability to get you tracking information depends on our partners ability to deliver it in a timely fashion.

Quick Ship:
Any product bearing the "Quick Ship" logo comes from either us or a stocking partner who has product in stock and can assure shipment within 48 hours. Our Quick Ship partners have a reputation of customer friendly service and return policies. Please never ship anything back until you get an RA (return authorization) from us. When you choose a Quick Ship item, you choose an item that may come directly from a manufacturer or a distributor or us. All Quick Ship items have our "No Hassle Returns".

When you need to send something back, its' so simple: Fill out form the driver gives you then hand the package to the UPS or FedEx driver. What could be easier?

When there is a stock out, we are notified immediately and we notify you.


Products not bearing the "Quick Ship" logo come from reliable businesses but who at the present time don't meet the criteria for the "Quick Ship" program, either through stock outs, seasonal or cyclical fluctuations of production or other circumstances beyond the control of Air Free. We stand behind all purchases and wish to apprise our customers accordingly.

Legacy Bicycle tires ship with in 48 hours to 4 weeks depending on the product ordered. Credit cards are charged at time of sale unless prior arrangements are made.


Priority Mail
Some of our stocking suppliers do offer US Mail and some don't. If you require the US Mail for your delivery, please call or email ahead your request. Otherwise, we list only UPS or FedEx ground as the shipping options.

International Shipping Options:
We love to ship overseas. However some of our stocking suppliers are unable to ship products to overseas addresses and FPOs. If you are interested in getting our tires shipped to you, please contact us and we can get an estimate. Or you can use our shopping cart and select "Overseas Shipping" as the option and select "Request For Quote" as the payment option. Please do not purchase any product until  we respond to your request for quote.

If we can ship your product, we will let you know how to proceed. We will direct you to a special URL to complete your purchase. You will be responsible for any customs or duties. US Priority or Express Mail may not be an option for many tires but FedEx and UPS are. Of course the US Mail is less expensive but our tires are worth it.

The price our shopping cart displays is based on US Mail Priority Mail prices. FedEx and UPS are approximately 4 times higher.

Custom Orders
The manufacturer makes different sized tires on different days of the week. When the manufacturer makes your custom tires, they have to wait for the day your size is to made in bulk. When that day comes, they will mix up a special batch of material just for your tires and make them. The tires have to wait a day in a holding area to cure before being boxed up and sent to you. Sometimes you can special order a tire and have it in six days and other times it takes upwards of four weeks. It just depends on when your size is to be made. We have made this service available since 1999 and no other company can offer this. When you order custom tires, you are getting product that is made specific to you and will make your riding experience even more enjoyable.

Anytime we have word from the manufacturer your tires are delayed, we will notify you.
